Membership application (2011-2012)

Membership requirements

Any psychotherapist who is accredited by a professional order and is interested in integrating an intersubjective perspective in his practice can become a member of the GEI. The annual membership fee is $30, and is applied to the current year regardless of the date on which it is received. Our membership year begins with our Annual colloquium which is generally held at the beginning of October. In order to maintain a spirit of openness which will promote the richness of clinical discussions we welcome non-members to our activities (while reserving organizational decisions to our members).

Privileges for members of the GEI

  • Lower fees for activities which are not free (please note that only the Annual Conference is in English)
  • Being listed in our members' roster (optional), available to members only and which can be used as a professional referral list
  • The right to vote at our Annual General Assembly, and hence the possibility of influencing the group's development
  • Access to the Members' section of our web-site, which includes our forums and many of the published papers by our guest speaker used in preparatory discussions for our Annual Conference
  • Finally, the pride and support that comes from being affiliated to a professional peer group

To become a member, please download the GEI Membership Application Form to be printed, filled out and mailed in.
